Contemporary Teal Metal Spiral Stair with Marble Treads

This contemporary spiral stair for SketchUp features a striking teal metal structure paired with elegant marble treads. Designed as a sculptural focal point, this spiral staircase features a sleek, continuous teal metal outer stringer that wraps around the central axis. The treads are surfaced in a light, veined marble, providing a material contrast to the smooth, matte finish of the metal casing. The design is compact, utilizing a circular footprint that connects two levels through a floor aperture. The clean, minimalist lines and bold colour choice make this an ideal feature element for open-plan living areas or high-end commercial lobby spaces where a strong architectural statement is required.

The download is a 59.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, import this stair component directly into your model space. Ensure the base is aligned with your finished floor level and the top aperture matches your ceiling opening. Use the component layers to manage the visibility of the treads and the metal structure independently. If adjusting the height or rotation, maintain the integrity of the curved geometry by utilizing native scaling tools cautiously to avoid distorting the tread proportions. Apply custom materials to the treads if your specific project requires a different stone finish.

This staircase is suited for luxury residential projects, boutique hotels, or modern office lobbies where a sculptural vertical circulation element is needed. It complements contemporary interior styles, pairing well with large-format floor tiles, minimalist furniture, and expansive glazing. Architects and interior designers often specify such feature stairs to define zones within open-plan layouts.
