Contemporary Multicolour Glass Partition CNC Screen Set

This contemporary SketchUp model features a set of four decorative partitions with geometric multicolour glass and grey frames. The set comprises four tall, narrow rectangular panels framed in a neutral grey metal. Each panel features a distinct arrangement of rectangular glass panes, combining clear sections with vibrant, solid-coloured inserts in red, yellow, teal, purple, and dark blue. The composition is balanced by vertical linear detailing within the grid, creating a rhythmic, modern aesthetic. The base of each unit is solid, featuring a simple, recessed rectangular panel detail. The overall design provides a semi-transparent visual barrier, ideal for defining zones without sacrificing light or a sense of openness in the interior layout.

The download is a 173 MB file containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these panels are grouped as individual components, allowing for easy placement and scaling within your floor plan. The glass and metal textures are mapped to standard materials, which can be easily edited or swapped to match your specific project palette. Use the move and rotate tools to arrange the panels as a continuous screen or as standalone dividers. Ensure your layers are organised to toggle visibility during render set-up, as the intricate geometric grid may require careful light-map handling.

These partitions are well-suited for open-plan residential living areas, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout spaces where visual separation is required. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture and neutral material palettes, acting as a focal point or a functional room divider. Architects and interior designers often search for these items when looking to introduce colour and pattern into a space during the conceptual or detailed design stages of a project, particularly when aiming for a sophisticated, artistic interior atmosphere.
