About this asset

This collection of six ornate classical plaster corner mouldings for SketchUp features intricate scrollwork and floral motifs. This set contains six distinct decorative corner elements, each showcasing traditional craftsmanship with flowing acanthus leaves, volutes, and subtle floral centres. The geometry is defined by high-relief curves and symmetrical profiles, designed to frame wall panels, ceiling edges, or door surrounds. The pieces vary in complexity, ranging from tight, angular corner brackets to more elongated, sweeping scrolls. Each model is rendered with a uniform, matte yellow finish, suggesting a primer or decorative gilt coating, suitable for applying custom material textures or finishes within a host application.

The download is a 73.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 6 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

These assets are delivered as individual SketchUp components, allowing for easy placement and alignment along wall or ceiling boundaries. Users should ensure the axes are correctly oriented to the corner faces before snapping the geometry into position. Because these models are high-detail, consider placing them on a dedicated layer to manage viewport performance. They can be scaled to fit specific architectural openings, though uniform scaling is recommended to maintain the integrity of the ornate profiles.

Ideal for interior designers and architects working on heritage renovations, luxury residential projects, or high-end hospitality spaces, these mouldings add authentic detail to wall panelling and ceiling coves. They pair effectively with traditional timber joinery, neoclassical wall treatments, and period-appropriate lighting fixtures. Professionals searching for 'classical wall trim', 'ornate ceiling corners', or 'historic plasterwork' will find these components essential for creating realistic visualisations of formal dining rooms, grand entryways, or library interiors where sophisticated, period-correct detailing is required.
