About this asset

This traditional Asian wooden gazebo SketchUp model features a hexagonal stone base, ornate timber framing, and a tiered roof structure. Designed with classic architectural proportions, this hexagonal pavilion features a raised stone platform accessed by a short flight of steps. The structure is supported by heavy timber columns that carry a detailed, multi-tiered roof with traditional sweeping eaves. Intricate timber latticework panels span the upper sections between columns, providing visual depth and historical character. The base and roof tiling are rendered in a neutral grey tone, contrasting with the warm brown timber elements. The overall geometry is symmetrical, offering a balanced aesthetic suitable for formal garden or courtyard placements.

The download is a 1.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp scene, place the component directly onto the site terrain layer. Users should verify the scale against the project site plan before final positioning. The file uses distinct layers for the roof, timber framing, and stone base, allowing for easy material adjustments or individual component modification. For high-quality visualisations, apply high-resolution wood grain textures to the columns and ensure lighting is configured to cast soft shadows beneath the wide, overhanging eaves of the roof.

This pavilion is ideal for landscape architecture projects, including public parks, private estate gardens, and luxury hotel courtyards. It serves as a focal point in exterior design schemes and works well when paired with stone paving, ornamental planting, and water features. Professionals searching for oriental-inspired garden elements or heritage-style outdoor structures will find this model useful for conceptual massing or detailed site renderings. It is frequently applied in the early stages of landscape development to establish a clear site focal point.
