About Universite de Blaise Pascal

The National School of Architecture of Clermont-Ferrand (ENSACF) is one of 21 French architecture schools under the Ministry of Culture. Founded in 1970, it moved in July 2015 to the former Sabourin hospital, located on the Côtes de Chanturgue. The building was transformed and adapted to its new functions by Dubesset-Lyon architects. ENSACF aims to train practitioners and theorists in architectural culture, with an educational program that includes territorial development, urban renovation, public space design, building rehabilitation, construction techniques, research, and programming. The school fosters a dynamic and stimulating work environment for its approximately 700 students, 84 teachers, and 40 administrative staff. Deeply rooted in its region yet globally open, ENSACF encourages students to question their future profession within an exceptional setting. It actively engages with local and regional initiatives, partnering with local authorities and cultural organizations. The school offers national architecture diplomas (Bachelor's and Master's cycles with three specializations) and the HMONP.
