About Universidad de Chile

The Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU) is one of the 16 faculties of the University of Chile, established as an autonomous body on January 16, 1944. It is recognized as one of the most important architecture schools in Chile. FAU offers undergraduate programs in Architecture, Design, and Geography, alongside postgraduate programs including diplomas, masters, and doctorates. The faculty comprises four departments (Urbanism, Architecture, Design, and Geography) and two institutes (Housing Institute of the University of Chile - INVI, and Institute of History and Heritage), along with an External Projects Center.
