The Tajik Technical University (TTU) named after academician M.S. Osimi, established in 1956 as the Stalinabad Polytechnical Institute, stands as the first and foremost higher technical educational institution in Tajikistan. It achieved university status in 1992 and was posthumously named after its inaugural rector, Muhammad Osimi, in 1997. Throughout its history, TTU has been instrumental in educating over 60,000 specialists, including engineers and architects, who contribute both domestically and internationally. The university is committed to advancing its educational and research methodologies, aiming to cultivate professional aptitude and train highly skilled engineers capable of addressing significant technical and societal challenges. The architecture program, housed on the fifth floor of the campus, provides expansive, well-lit classrooms outfitted with modern technical teaching aids.
