About Sochi State University

Sochi State University (SSU), established in 1989, evolved from a center focused on tourism and recreation into a classical university. In 2011, it was officially renamed the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education 'Sochi State University', and by 2017, it attained the status of Krasnodar region Flagship University. The institution comprises four faculties, including the Faculty of Innovative, Engineering and Digital Technologies, which houses its architecture programs.
