About Shenzhen University

The School of Architecture and Urban Planning (SAUP) at Shenzhen University, established in 1983, originated from the Department of Architecture, one of the university's inaugural faculties. With support from Tsinghua University and led by Professor Wang Tan, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, SAUP has grown significantly. After 37 years, it has become a comprehensive institute integrating four key disciplines: architecture, urban and rural planning, landscape architecture, and urban informatics. SAUP offers a complete training system spanning undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral programs. It is recognized as one of China's top architecture schools in overall strength and academic influence, emphasizing a blend of theory and practice, addressing the needs of the Greater Bay Area, and fostering an international vision for its students.
