Chinese language proficiency (HSK certificates required for Chinese-taught programs, exemptions for native speakers or previous degrees taught in Chinese). Academic Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent with GPA 3.0 or above (4-Point GPA System) for Bachelor's; Bachelor's degree or equivalent with GPA 2.5 or above (4-Point GPA System) for Master's. Pre-graduation certificates for graduates-to-be (Master's). Acceptance by a prospective professor for Master's programs (generally). Relevant undergraduate academic background (Master's). Portfolio submission for applicants to arts programs.
