About Shahed University

Shahed University is a comprehensive institution in Iran, priding itself on accepting students across both the Ministry of Science and the Ministry of Health, and delivering capable professionals to society. Currently, it educates over 6,000 students in 102 fields across specialized doctorate, professional doctorate, master's, and bachelor's degrees. The university comprises eight faculties: Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Midwifery, Humanities, Basic Sciences, Technical and Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, and Art. It also includes two medical centers. Shahed University is dedicated to advancing useful science, conducting applied and technological research, and improving research effectiveness to meet societal needs. It aims to achieve authority in selected scientific and technological fields and contribute to a knowledge-based economy. With 9 faculties, 12 research units, 2 growth centers, 1 innovation center, and over 25 research laboratories, it offers 180 academic fields. The university library holds approximately 400,000 printed book titles and 50,000 electronic documents, supporting researchers and students.
