About RV Scool of Architecture

RV College of Architecture (RVCA) was established in 1992, initially as a Department of Architecture within R. V. College of Engineering (RVCE), Bengaluru. In 1995, it moved to an independent building within the RVCE campus. The department gained autonomy and was rebranded as R.V School of Architecture in 2009, later that year, the Council of Architecture (COA), India, re-designated it as R.V College of Architecture. In 2014, RVCA relocated to a new campus and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka. The institution emphasizes a comprehensive integration of stringent academic standards, rigorous research endeavors, and hands-on practical consulting opportunities. Its educational philosophy is centered around cultivating innovative leaders and pioneers in the architectural field.
