About Myong Ji University

Myongji University's College of Architecture has a 40-year history, evolving significantly since 2002 into an independent college from the Department of Architecture under the College of Engineering. It offers a Five-year B. Arch. Course designed to meet international architectural certification standards. The college was the first in Korea to acquire an internationally recognized certificate from the Korea Institute of Architecture and Education (KAAB) in 2007. Since 2014, it has been reorganized into three distinct majors: Architecture, Traditional Architecture, and Space Design, actively expanding connections with related disciplines. The curriculum emphasizes comprehensive understanding, practical skills, cultural grounding, and international perspectives.
