Montclair State University's architectural identity is rooted in its historic core, featuring the iconic College Hall, a Mission Revival style building that established the campus's aesthetic in 1908. This signature style, characterized by white stucco walls, red tile roofs, and arched windows, reflects a connection to the past while embracing modern educational needs. Over the years, the campus has expanded to include 76 buildings across 252 acres, incorporating contemporary designs that harmonize with the original aesthetic.
