About Mississippi School of the Arts

The Mississippi State University School of Architecture (MSU SoA) provides a design education aimed at equipping graduates to be agents of change, creating meaningful spaces and forms that serve communities. As the only NAAB-accredited architecture program in Mississippi, it emphasizes critical and creative thinking to develop principled and responsible design leaders. The curriculum instills the poetics of design and incorporates innovative responses to social, cultural, and environmental issues, challenging codified knowledge, and embracing community engagement, diversity of cultures, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
