The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Koszalin University of Technology (Politechnika Koszalińska) originated in 1996 as the Institute of Design, evolving into its current faculty status on September 13, 2019. For the 2025-2026 academic year, 1st round: July 15-25; 2nd round: September 16-25; 3rd round: October 2-25 (all at 9:00 AM). For 2026/2027, electronic registration from June to July, with results announced in July.

Requirements

Candidates must register in the IRK electronic system (irk.politechnika.koszalin.pl), upload a photo, select study fields, pay the recruitment fee, and upload scans of necessary documents. For 1st degree stationary studies in Interior Architecture, Design, and Graphic Design, a two-part entrance exam is required: a qualifying interview based on a portfolio and interests (0-20 points), and a presentation of a portfolio of at least 10 personal works (0-10 points). A minimum of 16 points is needed for Interior Architecture and Design. Admission is based on the ranking of candidates who pass the exam. Foreign applicants for Interior Architecture and Design must also pass an artistic aptitude exam.
