Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) and Master of Architecture (M.Arch.)

This program allows students to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) majoring in Interdisciplinary Engineering – Architectural Emphasis from GVSU and a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from KCAD in one fewer year than would be possible without the articulation. Students develop a thesis within the architecture program that has an engineering component, supported by engagement with a GVSU engineering faculty advisor.

m_arch_kcad_provisional_admission: Online application; 2.7 undergraduate GPA; GVSU transcript; Completion of GVSU course requirements in first two years of articulation agreement before starting M.Arch. classes in third year.
bs_engineering_architectural_emphasis_secondary_admission: GPA of 2.7 or above in Engineering Foundation courses; C (2.0) or above in each Engineering Foundation course (max one repeat); Completion of EGR 289 (co-op preparation).
