Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

The Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Islamic Art at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, established in 2005, aims to cultivate creative and professionally skilled students in architecture and urbanism. Its core objective is to develop specialists for interdisciplinary fields, equipping them with the necessary skills to address contemporary urban challenges. The Bachelor of Architecture program focuses on foundational and professional capabilities, covering subjects like Conceptual Framework, Construction, Graphical Presentation, Architectural Design, and Construction Technology, with a strong emphasis on fostering creative ideas and visualization skills. For postgraduate students, the school prepares them as experts in fields demanded by industry and society. A significant goal is to strengthen and enhance Centers for Excellence in Sustainable Space Design and Green Architecture, serving the East of Iran and Central Asia.
