About Faculté Polytechnique de Mons

The UMONS Faculty of Engineering (FPMS, also known as “Polytech Mons”) has been training innovative, open-minded, future engineers since 1837. It is one of the oldest university institutions in Mons and the first engineering school created in Belgium (1836). The Faculty offers Master's degrees in Engineering in six specialist areas, including Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Computer Engineering and Management, Mechanical Engineering, Geology and Mining Engineering, and Architectural Engineering. The extensive scientific knowledge and transferable skills acquired during the five-year program enable graduates to pursue diverse careers in challenging environments.
