Facoltà di Architettura Ludovico Quaroni

The Faculty of Architecture at Sapienza University of Rome, including the 'Ludovico Quaroni' school, is Italy's oldest architecture faculty, established in 1919. It operates across four locations: Piazza Borghese, Via Flaminia, Via Gianturco, and Valle Giulia, with the latter housing one of Italy's largest architectural libraries. The faculty coordinates four departments: Architecture and Project; History, Drawing and Restoration of Architecture; Planning, Design and Technology of Architecture; and Structural and Geotechnical Engineering. Since 2001, it has aimed to provide comprehensive university education, reduce dropout rates, and diversify its offerings to meet local and international market needs. It fosters student mobility through Erasmus scholarships and aims to align educational profiles with European and international standards. The curriculum covers general architecture, historical preservation, landscape architecture, urban regeneration, product/service design, visual communication, and building process management, extending to Masters, Specialization Schools, and PhD programs. The Faculty emphasizes collaborations with public and private entities for student opportunities.
