Escola de Música e Belas Artes do Paraná

The Escola de Música e Belas Artes do Paraná (EMBAP), often referred to as 'Belas Artes' by locals, is a public higher education institution in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. Founded on April 17, 1948, it became an integral part of the State University of Paraná (Unespar). EMBAP is specialized in the comprehensive training of musicians and visual artists, offering public, free, and quality higher education. The institution has been recognized by the Federal Council of Education since 1954 and is maintained by the state government. It currently hosts approximately 1250 students across various undergraduate, specialization, and extension courses, all tuition-free. Its faculty comprises around 99 dedicated professionals.
