Grand 1800s buildings house this prestigious fine-art school, with vast public collection of works. The Fontainebleau Schools, also known as Les Ecoles d'Art Américaines de Fontainebleau, encompass the Conservatoire Américain and the École des Beaux-Arts. Since 1923, the Beaux-Arts program has exclusively focused on architecture, offering intensive 5-week summer sessions. These programs cater to international and American undergraduate, graduate students, and young professionals. The curriculum emphasizes developing observational and conceptual skills through analog visual media such as drawing, collage, model making, photography, and painting, fostering a strong culture of collaboration.
