Durham Sixth Form Centre

Durham Sixth Form Centre is a mixed sixth form college located in Durham, County Durham, England. It serves over 1800 students aged 16-19, offering a wide range of A-level and BTEC courses. The centre is an academy administered by the Providence Learning Partnership multi-academy trust. Its Arts and Humanities Faculty provides extensive visual, performing, media, and written arts courses. The centre actively engages in high-profile public events like The Big Draw and Lumiere, maintaining strong relationships with cultural organisations. In Summer 2023, it opened The Dead Dog Gallery, a contemporary art space for exhibitions, art creation, and residencies, aiming to support artists and foster community engagement.
