The Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering at TU Dortmund University integrates architecture and urban planning with civil engineering, employing the distinctive 'Dortmund Model'. Established in 1974 by Harald Deilmann and Stefan Polónyi, this reform model uniquely reunites the training paths of architects and civil engineers, which had been separated since the late 19th century.
