Design as Politics

The Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft holds a leading global role in education and research, fostering a vibrant academic community of approximately four thousand students and staff. It is an international breeding ground for creative thinking, imagination, and innovative design. The faculty is dedicated to improving the built environment through a broad range of disciplines including architectural design, urban planning, building technology, social sciences, process management, and geo-information science. Collaborating extensively with other faculties, universities, and both private and public sectors, the faculty maintains a vast national and international network. Its programs are underpinned by renowned Dutch experience in architecture and spatial planning, with a strong emphasis on integrating social, cultural, economic, and political perspectives for sustainable development.
