The California State University International Program (CSU IP) Florence Center offers a study abroad experience for CSU students, celebrating over 50 years of education in Florence. Located in the city's historic center, the program hosts approximately 100 students annually. Courses, including those in architecture, art history, and Italian studies, are taught in English by Italian faculty who integrate the city and its culture into the curriculum. Students participate in a mandatory Intensive Language Program and benefit from numerous group excursions. The center provides its own library with over 4,000 volumes, and students have access to digital fabrication facilities at the nearby University of Florence. This program allows students to earn major, minor, and general education credit while immersing themselves in Italian life.
