The Department of Architecture at University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) was established in 1967, marking the first time a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture was offered in Karnataka under the leadership of Prof. S.G. Pardhy. Located on the Jnana Bharathi Campus, the department boasts a well-equipped library serving as a vital resource hub. It operates a consultancy wing, 'The Design Cell,' undertaking various projects for the university. Students consistently achieve strong academic records and excel in competitions like those organized by the National Association of Architecture Students (NASA). The curriculum emphasizes state-of-the-art practices, technical visits, project tours, and design projects, ensuring students are well-versed in current engineering procedures.
