The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture is the leading higher education institution for architecture and urban studies in the Western Balkans Region. It offers comprehensive education to future architects, including a wide range of study programs that facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development necessary for interdisciplinary architectural practice. The faculty and its students are committed to advancing architectural quality, socially responsible professional conduct, and nurturing architecture as an integral part of societal identity and culture. As one of the oldest established faculties within the University of Belgrade, its first architecture study program was introduced in 1846, demonstrating nearly 180 years of dedication to scientific research, education, and disciplinary advancement in architecture. The school is located in the iconic building of technical faculties in central Belgrade, one of Europe's last classicist buildings from the 20th century, constructed between 1925 and 1931 by Nikola Nestorović and Branko Tanazović. Originally designed for technical schools, it continues to serve this purpose almost a century later. All study programs are aligned with the Bologna Declaration principles and standards and are accredited by the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance of the National Council for Higher Education. Additionally, two study programs have RIBA course status validation.

Master

This program aims to conciliate the fields of history and theory of architecture, architectural and urban design, urban planning, implementation of architectural structures, architectural technologies and structural engineering. Requirements
For Master of Architecture: Bachelor's degree in a relevant/related subject (Architecture, Urban Planning, Urban Design, Urban Studies, or Environmental Design) from a recognized institution, OR a combination of maturity, satisfactorily completed training, and professional experience acceptable to the Faculty. Candidates must provide evidence of their original/creative work in architecture or urban design/planning and demonstrate its relevance to the study. An entrance examination is part of the standard procedure.
