Archeworks

Founded in 1994 by internationally known architect Stanley Tigerman and award-winning designer Eva Maddox, Archeworks is a multidisciplinary nonprofit design educator. Its mission is to advance design in the public interest and inspire collaborative action to shape more ecologically sustainable cities. Archeworks achieves this through public forums and partnership-based postgraduate education programs, proposing environmentally resourceful and socially responsible design solutions for urban communities. A major objective is for design professions to play a more integral role in community development, environmental health, and urban policy. Students collaborate in multidisciplinary teams with community partners to address social and environmental needs, emphasizing a hands-on and community-engaged approach. Historically, it offered a certificate in sustainable urban design. The institution is currently listed as 'Closed Temporarily'.
