About Arab International University

The Faculty of Architecture at Arab International University (AIU) is dedicated to graduating highly professional engineers skilled in synthesizing knowledge and developing large-scale engineering solutions for built environments. Approved and certified by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Syrian Arab Republic. The university also has a 'Board of Quality Assurance and Accreditation' established in 2008.
Admissions
Requirements
Holders of a Syrian Secondary School Certificate (Scientific branch - Baccalaureate) or equivalent non-Syrian Baccalaureate. Minimum 60% grade average for Syrian Baccalaureate holders; non-Syrian certificate holders must meet a percentage set by the Ministry of Higher Education. Must pass an Architecture aptitude examination testing drawing skills, visualization of shapes, ability to install shapes, and simple engineering problem-solving. The faculty may impose additional requirements or remedial courses. Graduates from higher technical institutions with certified diplomas may apply. Transfer students from other universities are accepted per Ministry rules.
