The American School of Bilbao (ASB) is a private, non-profit international K-12 school founded in 1967 by American and British citizens under the auspices of the U.S. State Department's Office of Overseas Schools. Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (N.E.A.S.C.) and the Council of International Schools (C.I.S) since 1985, and officially recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education in 1981, ASB is the only school in Northern Spain offering the full International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum, from Early Years to Grade 12.
