Albanian University

Albanian University is a private higher education institution in Albania, licensed by the Council of Ministers in 2009, having been initially established in 2004 as "UFO dental" and officially renamed in 2011. It commenced offering programs across two faculties in the academic year 2009-2010. By 2010-2011, its academic scope expanded significantly with the establishment of the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering. The architecture program is specifically situated within the Department of Architecture, which is part of the Faculty of Economic and Applied Sciences. The department initiated its Master of Science in Architecture program during the 2005-2006 academic year. Emphasizing international collaboration, it actively engages in academic partnerships with various national and international institutions, fostering scientific research, facilitating mobility for both faculty and students, and encouraging the exchange of academic resources. Notable collaborations include those with the University of Pisa, University of Nancy, and University of Padova. A significant achievement is the PhD program, launched in 2013 in collaboration with the University of Palermo, focusing on "Energy and its future in the Architecture and Environment Development." The university is dedicated to advancing knowledge in architecture, urban planning, and construction, with a keen focus on modern engineering science and pioneering architectural design.
