The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) is a Center of Education, Research, and Innovation that envisions, designs, and prototypes the future—from Barcelona to the world. It bridges education and research to bring radical experiments into real-world applications, transforming ideas into material systems, building products, and urban technologies. IAAC is an open, independent, and radical non-profit foundation with 20 years of activity, inspired by the values of Barcelona. It is a hub for transversal collaboration, connecting diverse disciplines to bring new concepts to life and make an impact on how we live, design, and build. IAAC follows the digital revolution at all scales to expand the boundaries of architecture and design, meeting the challenges faced by humanity. It's an experimental and experiential center where learning happens by doing, promoting real solutions and fostering a global network of students and professionals from over 70 countries.
