Dessau Institute of Architecture

The Dessau International Architecture Graduate School (DIA), established in 1999 as the Dessau Institute of Architecture, is an internationally acclaimed post-graduate Master of Arts program in architecture offered by Hochschule Anhalt. Located adjacent to the historic Bauhaus Dessau, the program is deeply influenced by its legacy while driven by innovation. It emphasizes a design-oriented curriculum within a unit system focused on intensive work in small studios led by diverse professionals. The DIA provides a comprehensive architectural education that addresses technical, economic, ecological, cultural, and theoretical aspects of building and planning. With over 200 students from more than 50 countries, it fosters an inspiring, international atmosphere.
