The Architecture Pathway focuses on architecture and its impacts on public life while allowing students to experiment in areas such as technology and building performance, urbanism and social practice, and the visualization and communication of information. Students are encouraged to take courses in any medium of field of study relevant to their practice.

The B.Arch program provides an integrated approach to architecture with an emphasis on construction, structure, enclosure, and integrated environmental systems as fundamental to the design of the built environment. The curriculum unites design excellence with technical expertise.

The Master of Architecture program offers an understanding of history, theory and technique within the context of a highly ranked interdisciplinary institution. Students master the skills and critical thinking necessary to build a professional practice focused on advancing ideas and inventions in the field of architecture.

Students in the Master of Architecture with an Interior Architecture Track program develop the critical skills necessary to translate ideas into meaningful objects and environments.

The MFA in Studio, Architecture program supports advanced work in architecture and its related fields that calls upon a broad range of art and design disciplines to challenge how architecture is defined and practiced. It supports creative work, inquiry, and investigation across 14 departments as part of the advanced preparation of fine arts practitioners.

The School of Landscape Architecture BFA program focuses on the development of flexible design processes for landscape and urban design, an understanding of ecological systems, sustainable practices and use of materials, site planning, and advanced drafting and rendering techniques. By graduation, each student will have a portfolio that reflects his or her unique creative vision within this rapidly expanding and evolving profession.

In Columbia College Chicago's Interior Architecture program, you'll develop a professional portfolio and a skill set that will prepare you to design interior space. Our program integrates the worlds of manual and digital project work, and the conceptual with the practical.

The Master of Science in Urban Design program focuses on the processes and forces that shape cities and regions, and the design interventions that can improve the quality of urban life.
