About Portmore Community College

Portmore Community College (PCC), established in 1992, operates two campuses in Portmore and Old Harbour, serving over 2400 students. Its mission is to build the human capital of the communities it serves by providing diverse pathways to quality higher education and learning, enhancing proficiency and professionalism. PCC is committed to delivering high-quality post-secondary and tertiary education to Jamaicans, ensuring graduates are work-ready citizens capable of contributing to nation-building. The college offers experiential learning opportunities, various co-curricular activities, and flexible learning schedules. The Department of Pure & Applied Sciences, which houses the architecture program, is dedicated to delivering high-quality education in Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology. Applications are continuously processed throughout the year. For enrollment in September, applications must be submitted by August 31st. Applications received after August 31st will be considered for the January semester. An application form also indicates a deadline for submission of July 30th.
