Lansing Community College

The Architecture Technologies Program at Lansing Community College is dedicated to providing all students interested in the study of architecture with the academic means to achieve their individual goals. The program structures its curricula, courses, events, and activities as part of an instructive learning environment, designed and implemented by field-trained professionals using the latest techniques and technologies. The program continually seeks direction and guidance from a board of advisors representing a diverse cross-section of practicing professionals throughout the field of architecture. It offers a comprehensive, two-year Associate Degree in Architecture Technology, preparing students for continuation onto a four-year college, and a one-year certificate intended for entry into the workforce. All ARCH courses are designed and taught by practicing professionals. The program also offers a wide variety of additional activities and events such as lectures and field trips, making the educational experience as complete as possible. In addition to over 30 ARCH courses, the college provides hundreds of additional courses in related fields such as Interior Design, Kitchen and Bath Design, Landscape Architecture, Art and Humanities, Building Technologies, and Civil Construction.
