Piloo Mody College of Architecture (PMCA), established in 1993 by the visionary educationist Late Ar K.B. Mohapatra, is named after the late parliamentarian Ar. Piloo Mody, who was instrumental in the Architects' Act of 1972. As a leading architecture school in Odisha and a prominent center for learning, research, and innovation in Eastern India, PMCA is approved by the Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi, and affiliated with Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela. The college is also NAAC accredited and has been granted academic autonomy from 2025-29 under the BPUT Act, 2002. master_of_architecture: B.Arch degree or equivalent (A.I.I.A) with 50% aggregate marks. Valid score in GATE/PGETA conducted by COA or rank in PGAT conducted by OJEE.
bachelor_of_architecture: Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational/Computer Science/IT/Informatics Practices/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies with at least 45% aggregate marks OR passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% aggregate marks. Must qualify an aptitude test in architecture (NTA JEE Main Paper-2 or NATA conducted by Council of Architecture).
