About Nyack College

Nyack College, founded in 1882, was a Christian and Missionary Alliance educational institution. It pursued a mission of preparing individuals to spread the Gospel globally, becoming known as the most ethnically diverse Christian college in American higher education history. The college offered a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and seminary programs, including liberal arts, business administration, music, nursing, social work, mental health counseling, and biblical studies. In 2020, Nyack College sold its properties in Nyack, New York, and relocated to Manhattan, rebranding as Alliance University. Unfortunately, the institution subsequently lost its accreditation, which led to its permanent closure.
