About Norwalk State Technical College

CT State Community College Norwalk, formerly Norwalk Community College (NCC) and Norwalk State Technical College, is a public community college located in Norwalk, Connecticut. It is the third-largest of the twelve colleges within the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities (CSCU) system. The institution is dedicated to providing affordable, accessible education, career training, and lifelong learning. Operating with an open admissions policy, it offers a wide array of over 90 degrees and certificates, including 45 associate degrees and 26 certificate programs, in addition to non-credit workforce development programs. The college serves approximately 6,200 full- and part-time students in credit programs and about 5,700 in non-credit programs. As a commuter school without dormitories, its primary service area encompasses ten towns in southwest Fairfield County. The college is recognized for its supportive faculty, diverse community, and commitment to student empowerment and achievement of their highest potential through a culture of inclusion and excellence.
