About Military College of Engineering

Military College of Engineering (MCE) was initially established as the School of Military Engineering in Sialkot in 1948, and subsequently relocated to Risalpur in 1952. In 1962, MCE was granted self-degree awarding status, a unique honor among Pakistan Army institutions. Since 1995, its academic programs have been affiliated with the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST). MCE is dedicated to civil engineering disciplines, including structural, geotechnical, transportation, construction engineering and management, and water resources. In 2012, MCE pioneered an MS program in Disaster Management. The institution's mission is to develop highly skilled civil engineers for both the Pakistan Army and civilian sectors, providing them with modern, high-tech facilities and specialized laboratories, such as the country's largest Seismic Testing Facility.
