0: Minimum of 2 H5 and 4 O6/H7 grades (Leaving Certificate equivalent), including a language (English, Irish, or another language) and either Art or Maths.
1: Mandatory submission of a general art and design portfolio.
2: For international students: Completed High School Diploma or equivalent; English Language proficiency (IELTS 6.0, PTE 46, Duolingo 105, TOEFL 60).
3: Mature students (23 years or older) can apply directly.
4: Applicants with a Level 5 qualification in a cognate area (3 distinctions and 5 passes, plus portfolio) may be eligible for Year 1 entry.
5: Applicants with a Level 6 qualification in a related discipline (with transcripts and portfolio) may be eligible for advanced entry into Year 1 or 2.
