This program prepares students for entry into the architectural profession and for entry into either the professional master of architecture or the research masters programs. It is designed for entry into the architectural profession at the 'Candidate Senior Architectural Technologists' registration category.

This program offers unconditional validation from the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) and the Commonwealth Association for Architecture (CAA). The Department of Architecture offers comprehensive training in architectural design and theory.

The program is designed for those who intend to become professional town planners and who possess a good matric foundation or qualification.

Interior Designers engage with a range of interior spaces to create innovative spatial solutions with a thorough knowledge of building technology, materials, and human environment needs. It caters to the education and training of Senior Interior Designers as designated by the South African Institute of Interior Design Professions (IID).

This full-time program offers a gateway to diverse career paths within the architectural discipline. It focuses on the generation of social and cultural heritage through built spaces and the integration of built and ecological environments.
