About Bicol College of Arts and Trades (BCAT)

Bicol College of Arts and Trades (BCAT), now Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST), started as a trade school in 1952. It was established to address the post-war need for skilled workers in the Bicol region. Over the years, BCAT evolved from offering vocational courses to degree programs, focusing on technology, engineering, and industrial fields. The college aims to produce graduates who are not only technically proficient but also possess entrepreneurial skills and a strong sense of social responsibility.
